Project Vision

Project Vidya will be implemented a few times and then converted into a standard implementation model which can be replicated at various location.

We are starting with Project Vidya -Phase 1.  E1E1 team has been working with on this for almost a year. As a result, we have worked out the basic IT infrastructure requirements to set up, interactive e-learning centre. We also have worked on an induction program to do on-boarding of teachers. In this project we hope to baseline these standard modules of Project Vidya.

For teachers, it is extremely important to have familiarity with computers and have access to computers and internet.

If they do not have the necessary Computer Knowledge, we will arrange for a boot camp to teach computers.

Teachers just need to have inclination, commitment .

Note : Teachers are also welcome to  do live teaching at the school.

All the teachers will have to bear their own expenses. As a matter of E1E1 policy, we do not take any money nor give any money to do social work. We work to enrich our lives and lives of others.

What is Project Vidya Phase 1 ?

Project Vidya Phase 1

Scope : To use Technology to provide education related and support resources to Nutan Bal Shikshan Sangh’s,  Education Institutes,  Padmabhushan Tarabai Modak Vidyanagari at Kosbad, Dahanu. Convert this project into a replicable implementation model for other similar schools in Phase 2.

This will involve Primary School, Secondary School and Higher Secondary School.

Objectives:

• Provide interactive e-learning and supplement the teaching faculty to provide academic education as per Govt. Syllabus.
• Support resources would consist of setting up Science Laboratory, Computer Centre, Library etc.
• Provide Electricity using Solar Panels
• Provide basic health and hygiene information to the students
• Supplement with nourishing food partnering with NGOs similar to Akshay Patra Foundation
• Give career guidance. Identify opportunities for vocational training and subsequent livelihood.
• It is not essential that all the school children will ultimately study till 10^th or 12^th Standard. We will plan to provide early exit point after 6^th or 8^th Standard to pursue a suitable vocation. Along with exit points, we will also have suitable entry points by using NIOS (National Open School)
