While EachOne Enrich One will continue to do social networking website for social cause, we intend to add a new dimension to the social cause. Every year, we will operate at two levels : general and specific. At general level, we will continue the focus on overall enrichment, however at the specific level, we will focus on a specific social project, where our team of ambassadors will contribute using Technology along with our time and energy.

This year, we are happy to announce the project “Vidya – Phase 1”. The specific focus is to harness Technology to provide education at village level, use it to provide upliftment and local livelihood opportunities.

 We have been closely working with a village school for almost a year and have identified specific challenges with respect to operations.

We invite you to join this project. This new year let us make a resolution to spread enrichment – with us or without us.

Project Mission

The main difference between the haves and have-nots is the ability to provide basic necessities of life: food, clothing and shelter. All these require Vitamin M – Money. To earn money and use money, education becomes the best bet. Basic education - language to communicate, arithmetic to count and transact with money, skill to earn money, becomes a necessity to lead life with dignity. When we talk about Education, we are trying to look at education at all levels, skill-based, professional and for all ages. Government, Not-for-profits, for-profits   have all been trying to contribute to spread of education. This needs huge resources – infra-structural resources, educational resources as well as trained man-power. Education is a global revolution to make the planet a better place to live.

At EachOne EnrichOne our mission is to use Technology to provide specific type of resources to schools at village level. There are a huge amount of audio, visual resources supplemented by excellent books available, however, there is a severe dearth of teachers and also money to pay the teachers. At E1E1, we will use the available e-learning resources and mix them with Computers and Telecommunications  to provide interactive e-learning  to reach out to the schools in the  remotest area.

This is a hybrid model. The team will consist of a panel of teachers operating at fix time from their home and teaching using Hangout, Skype or something similar. The students will be sitting in their village classroom, with electricity provided by Solar Panels. The classroom will have computers, with web-cam and microphones, with internet connectivity. The class will be conducted over the net. It will be an interactive session. The main challenge is related to the internet. We will start with villages where this set up is possible and we are sure over the years the IT infrastructure will improve.

The panel of teachers will be given training sessions and adequate practice to conduct remote classes. There are a host of challenges which the teacher needs to be sensitive about,  additionally, a few face-to-face interactions are also essential to understand the environment, socio-cultural eco-system, before starting to teach from a remote location.

We invite energetic, experienced retired but not tired folks to join us in this mission. This is also meant for socially inclined youth, who would like to volunteer, give couple of hours a week or few hours a month to contribute to the cause.
