Computer Centre Opens at NBBS, Kosbad
E1E1 helps in setting up Computer Centre
In the last century, just a little more than 100 km from Mumbai, two ladies Padmabhushan Tarabai Modak and Padmashree Anutai Wagh
worked relentlessly to educate the Adivasi students trying innovative methods. They faced Himalayan challenges. Nutan Bal
Shikshan Sangh (NBSS) is a legacy they handed over, which now caters to the educational need of over 500 tribal students.
The work they did was carried forward by many dedicated individuals. The team of Trustees under the able leadership of Shri
Chandragupta Pavaskar, have managed to take forward this Institution to increase the span of education delivery to SSC Board
and HSC Board Arts and Commerce.
For higher education, it was extremely important to have a Computer Centre, because it was part of the new Board syllabus. Team
EachOneEnrichOne (E1E1) prepared the project report to solicit CSR funding. Team E1E1 was supported by Sunita Padwal of Rotary
Club Mahim to put the funding request to Thyssen Krupp Industrial Solutions. Mr. Suryakumar, the CSR consultant of ThyssenKrupp,
worked on the proposal with his team. As part of their CSR projects, ThyssenKrupp provided ten Desktop computers, ten laptops, printer, webcam and
audio equipment.
The Computer Centre was inaugurated on 27th September 2019 at the AnutaiWagh School, belonging to NBSS, at Kosbad, Dahanu. Team E1E1 is further contributing to the effective utilisation of the Computer Centre in terms of operational plans and teaching courses.
