Mental health Professionals, Trainee Psychologists, Social
workers, Teachers, Parents, UG & PG Students, PG and Diploma Students of
Counselling and Allied batches, Research Scholars, Media Professionals and any
responsible adult.
Topics Covered :
- Warning signs of child sexual abuse (CSA)
- Forms of CSA and prevalence & myths pertaining to CSA
- Reasons why children often do not reveal about being abused
- Tricks abusers use to gain trust of the child
- Signs that someone could be an abuser or is at the risk of engaging in abusive behaviour
- Orientation to conducting workshops with children on CSA (activities included)
- Orientation to conducting workshops with teachers and parents on CSA(activities included)
- Orientation to POCSO Act
- Simulations, case studies, group discussions shall be used to facilitate the sessions.
